Terms of Use
Last updated: 28.07.2026.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the dbbsoftware.com website and of the free DBB Software Scope Document generator, whether you use it on this website, through our on-site AI assistant, through the "DBBS Project Scope Generator" app for ChatGPT, or through any other MCP-compatible AI assistant (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. The Services are operated by DBB Software Sp. z o.o. ("DBB Software", "we", "us"). You can reach us at in@dbbsoftware.com. [
1. The free Scope Document:
1.1. The Scope Document is a free, AI-generated project scoping draft produced from the project description you provide. It typically includes an executive summary, functional and non-functional requirements, an architecture outline, technical decision records, a milestone plan, a team outline, and a risk register. It is provided for your evaluation and internal planning.
1.2. The Scope Document is generated by artificial intelligence and is informational only. It is not professional, legal, financial, or technical advice; it is not an offer, a quotation, a price estimate, or a commitment by DBB Software to deliver any work, timeline, or team. It intentionally contains no pricing or effort-hour figures. Any engagement with DBB Software — including a paid Discovery phase — is formed only through a separate written agreement.
1.3. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation. Review the document critically and verify any conclusions before relying on them or making decisions based on them.
2. Your input and the generated document:
2.1. The project description and any other input you provide remain yours. You confirm you have the right to share what you submit and that it contains no information you are prohibited from disclosing. Please do not include sensitive personal data, health information, credentials, or trade secrets in a project description — the generator does not need them.
2.2. You may use, copy, and share the generated Scope Document within your organisation and with your advisors for evaluating and planning your project. DBB Software branding in the document must not be removed when sharing it, and the document must not be resold or republished as a standalone work.
3. Acceptable use and service limits:
3.1. You agree not to misuse the Services — including attempting to circumvent rate limits or safety measures, submitting content that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights, using automated tools to bulk-generate documents, or attempting to disrupt the Services. The generator applies fair-use limits (per-user and service-wide) and requests beyond them may be declined.
3.2. Generated documents are held for a limited time: a document that is not emailed becomes unavailable approximately one hour after generation, and an emailed download link remains valid for approximately 7 days. We may change, limit, or discontinue the free generator at any time.
4. Email delivery:
4.1. We send the Scope Document by email only when you request delivery and give your consent at that step. The address you provide is used to deliver the document, and DBB Software may follow up once about your project; you are not added to a mailing list, and every follow-up email includes an unsubscribe option. Details of what we process and for how long are in our Privacy Policy (see its section 12, "AI Assistant Integrations").
5. Disclaimer of warranties:
5.1. The Services and every generated document are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Limitation of liability:
6.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DBB Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the Services or reliance on a generated document. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Third-party platforms:
7.1. When you use the Scope Document generator through a third-party AI assistant (for example ChatGPT or another MCP-compatible assistant), that platform's own terms and privacy policy also apply to your use of the platform itself. DBB Software is not responsible for third-party platforms.
8. Changes to these Terms:
8.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at dbbsoftware.com/terms, with the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing law and contact:
9.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence. Questions about these Terms: in@dbbsoftware.com.
