About the Client
Skillbandit is a Budapest hiring platform built on the idea that a candidate's personal qualities matter as much as their knowledge. Job seekers take a soft-skill test and get a trait profile covering their motivators, strengths and communication style, then see the roles that suit it. Employers post positions and search for candidates whose personal qualities fit the role.

Converted candidate soft-skill test results into conditional, structured profile content.
Gated environmental profile sections to ensure incomplete user accounts never display blank results.
Configured custom Open Graph tags to render soft-skill scores as shareable social preview cards.
Progressive Data Capture
Engineered a dynamic application flow that forces the collection of required data exactly once.
Gated initial applications behind mandatory language, hard skill, and baseline education level fields.
Programmed dialogs to automatically hide previously answered fields and accept explicit negative responses.
Automated Role Matching
Built a scheduled background service to notify candidates when matching jobs are published.
Configured scheduled cron queries to continuously detect new roles and queue corresponding email alerts.
Routed all alert traffic through isolated Amazon SQS FIFO queues to separate production from testing.
Role-Based Administration
Delivered the employer backend architecture for job posting creation and user management.
Structured distinct permission layers across standard candidate, external recruiter, and internal administrator accounts.
Configured secure Amazon S3 storage in the Frankfurt region to handle company media uploads.
