Background

Uniform, a US-based software company providing a platform for composable digital experiences, requested our assistance in advertising its core platform. The main task was to develop demo websites for the marketing team to showcase the Uniform platform's capabilities. This also included creating mechanisms to demonstrate the page live editing feature.

Additionally, our team implemented a universal kit to enable the creation of any type of web application. We also extensively migrated the client’s projects, created high-architecture solutions to ensure a connection with third-party elements, and developed an LCI to export separate apps from Monorepo.

Solution

DBB Software professionals focused efforts on creating impressive demo and marketing websites for the client to showcase their platform. Our team also implemented many improvements to the platform:

Demo websites: several web portals were created to showcase the platform’s live editing capabilities.

Implementation

#1 Research and Analysis

Our experts gathered the requirements to understand the client’s issues better. They thoroughly analyzed the client’s core platform to identify how to properly introduce new features and use it to develop demo and marketing websites.

#2 Iterative Development

The team followed agile methodology and performed in two-week sprints. Tasks included end-to-end engineering, project migration to React Server components, and more.

As a result, our team launched the first version of the marketing website in a record 1 month, and we were successfully building 2-3 integrations per month, depending on the complexity.

Additionally, we implemented a universal kit to enable the development of any web application. The scope of work also included creating a CLI to export separate applications from the monorepo and use it to switch between SSR and SSG rendering models.

#3 Code Review and Testing

Our specialists concluded each sprint with a code review involving the client’s engineering managers and E2E automation demos. We also integrated testing into every stage of development. Our automation and manual QA engineers ensured the websites' and solutions' robustness, reliability, and quality.

#4 Feedback and Updates

After each sprint, we conducted demonstrations to showcase the progress to our client. We also communicated updates through regular meetings to maintain transparency, manage expectations, and improve the partnership. As a result, we continue our cooperation with the client to improve their platform further and roll out websites.
